Study Sphere Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Study Sphere is developed by Saikat Sarkar. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data within the application.

2. Data Collection and Usage

Study Sphere is an offline-first application. We collect the following data locally to provide app functionality:

• Personal Info: Name, school, and class details for your student profile.
• Camera access: Used exclusively for the "Note Scanner" feature to convert handwritten notes to digital text.
• Images: Profile photos or school logos selected by the user.

3. Data Storage and Control

All data stays on your device. We do not have servers and do not upload your data to any remote location. You can delete all your data at any time by clearing the app cache or uninstalling the app.

4. Children’s Privacy

We comply with COPPA. No personal information from children is ever collected on servers or shared with third parties, as all data remains under the user's local control.

5. Third-Party Services

We use Google ML Kit for on-device OCR. No images are sent to Google servers. See Google's Privacy Policy for more info.
